State of Melaka, being the third smallest state in Malaysia, is bordered in the north by Negeri Sembilan and Johore to the south. However, it is strategically located between two major cities i.e. Kuala Lumpur in the north and Johor Bahru/Singapore in the southern part. The state is easily accessible by air, road, sea and railway. Via the North-South Expressway, Melaka is only 1½ hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur and 2½ hours drive from Singapore.
